Analysed Band or Artist Images. (posters, CD covers .etc)
For instruments many artists uses microphones as their only 'instrument' while they could have a back band or singers to enhance their performance. This because they are singers and use only a microphone for their concerts. Some artists can play the piano like Elton John and still at the same time; this would be their alternative instrument for some artists.

I love the PowerPoint, Aimee - well done. Some good research here too! The only issue I have is the role of instruments - many pop artists are seen as performers rather than serious musicians. More emphasis on them singing and dancing and acting rather than playing??? They may have a backing band but usually the "star" simply sings.... May be worth just adding a revision note underneath this, if you agree with it,rather than altering the original PP!
